About the itemThe anchor is a decades old symbol of stability and security in the physical world and by extension also steadfastness, hope, and trust in the spiritual world. Our anchor is cast from a vintage victorian charm dating from around 1870 or 1880, which has delicate engraving and fine detail. The anchor's symbolism made it very popular with the victorians and it was often made as a charm, a brooch, a watch fob and a bracelet fastening such was its wide appeal. You can just love our anchor for its retro styling though if you wish. It looks great combined with our flintlock pistol charm for a rock and roll vibe. The silver on our anchor is oxidised for a vintage feel, but the darkening will wear back to a pal silvery grey with time. Wear it your way and enjoy! Our anchor measures 30mm by 22mm
